Welcome to EZ MoveIt. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Use") carefully before using the website (the "Service") operated by Gold Star Elite Corporation DBA EZ MoveIt ("us", "we", or "our").

1. General Provisions

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms govern the use of our website and serve as a complement to your moving contract.

2. Estimates and Pricing Disclaimer

All prices, rates, and estimated costs displayed on this website are for informational purposes only and are subject to change without notice. These figures are intended to provide a general baseline and do not constitute a binding offer or contract.

The final cost of your move will be determined based on:

  • The actual weight and/or volume of your shipment.

  • The actual distance traveled.

  • Specific services requested or required (e.g., packing, long-carry, shuttle service).

  • The tariff provisions bound by 49 CFR § 375.401(a).

Important: EZ MoveIt is not responsible for discrepancies between website calculators/estimates and the final binding quote provided after a visual or detailed survey.

4. Booking, Cancellations, and Payment Terms

Unlike many other carriers, EZ MoveIt does NOT require an upfront cash deposit to book your move. However, to secure your reservation and truck space, we require a valid credit/debit card on file.

A. Reservation & Card Authorization

By providing your credit card information, you authorize EZ MoveIt to keep the card on file as security for your reservation. No charges are made at the time of booking.

B. Cancellation Policy & Penalty

We understand that plans can change. However, reserving a truck prevents us from booking other customers.

  • Cancellation Fee: If you choose to cancel your move within 3 days (72 hours) of booking, a cancellation fee equal to 15% of the Grand Total Estimate will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • Please verify your dates carefully before booking to avoid this fee.
     

C. Payment Schedule

The payment for your moving services is split into two equal installments for your convenience:

  1. First Installment (50%): Due on the day of Pickup (before the truck departs origin).

  2. Second Installment (50%): Due on the day of Delivery (prior to unloading at the destination).
     

Accepted forms of payment for these installments include Cash, Post Office Money Order, or Certified Funds, unless otherwise pre-approved in writing.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to blog posts, images, logos, and design) are and will remain the exclusive property of EZ MoveIt and its licensors.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall EZ MoveIt, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of the Website.

Note regarding cargo claims: Liability for loss or damage to household goods is governed strictly by federal regulations (Carmack Amendment) and the valuation coverage option selected on your Bill of Lading.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions

8. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
